Reset Password

1. Firstly, you'll need to download the QuickBooks Automated Password Reset Tool, a free utility that helps reset the QuickBooks Admin password for any Windows version of QuickBooks Desktop.

2. Visit the Intuit Password Reset page, and from the dropdown menu, choose your QuickBooks version.

3. Note: Ensure you select the version of QuickBooks that you last used to open the company file on your computer.

4. Fill in the required details, including your QuickBooks License Number, First Name, Last Name, Email, Business Phone Number, and ZIP code. Hit 'Next' once you're done.

Note: When entering your phone number, ensure it is a ten-digit number without any extensions. There's no need to include (+1) at the start.

5. A license agreement will appear on the screen. Accept it, and the QuickBooks Password Reset Tool will start downloading automatically. If it doesn't, then hit on the 'Download Now' button.

Note: If you are asked to Save or Run the file, opt for 'Save.'

6. Locate the downloaded file and open the Password Reset Tool.

7. Enter the Token number that was emailed to you.
